Gregory “Greg”  F. Copic, 46 of Toledo, OH, died Monday, November 9, 2015.  Born October 31, 1969, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Harley F. and Judith Ann (Hunter) Copic.  A 1987 graduate of Bedford High School, he was a veteran of the US Army during Desert Storm.  He married Lorraine D. Smelser on January 3, 1997.  He was employed as a truck driver for XPO Logistics (formerly Conway Central Express) for the past 18 years.  He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, Miami Dolphins and University of Michigan Football.  He was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo.

Greg is survived by his wife, Lorraine; children, Christina (Anthony) Copic, Brandon (Valerie) Copic, Tabatha (David) Thwaites and Meagan Manley; father, Harley Copic; brothers, Todd (Mary Ellen) Copic and Terry (Kristy) Copic; grandchildren, Lacey, Zayden, Hunter, Landon, Jonathan and Caydence.  He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Monday, November 16, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 West Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH 43623, where he will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
